Jon Kim

Jon Kim began studies in music on violin at the age of six, going on to perform in numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles both as a soloist and member of the orchestra. He has performed in numerous venues including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and New Jersey’s Performance Arts Center. He began playing guitar at the age of fourteen and has participated in master classes with artists such as Carlos Barbosa-Lima and Marco Tamayo. He is now studying at the New England Conservatory under the tutelage of esteemed guitar virtuoso Eliot Fisk.
